These are Choice graded American Briskets from Cedar Farms. As we’d expect, they’ve got a decent cover of fat and well finished marbling. We cooked one of these when they arrived just to see how they’d turn out and I must admit it didn’t disappoint. As far as American beef is concerned, these are pretty good for the money and well worth a go if it’s what you’re looking for. Yes there’s a bit of trimming to do on these whole Packer Briskets but that’s American Beef for you.

Cedar River Farms Beef is born and raised in the South West United States, where fed a 100% vegetarian diet of grain and forage. The beef is defined by the USDA as minimally processed, with no artificial ingredients and do not receive any added hormones during their lifetime in line with the legal requirement of exporting to the UK.
