Picanha of Dark Red

From Barcelona – Spain, this wonderful beef is produced. Although well known for their Holstein Friesian Cow Beef they also produce this cracking heifer beef from their Dark Red Carnivorus range that’s really lovely quality. This is the first small sample of this beef we’re trying and so far its most certainly a thumbs up and you guys are going to love it. The Picanha we have here is gorgeous beef, firm and looking great. A bit lighter on the marbling to what we were expecting but made up for this on flavour and texture when cooked. So good, I just may have to cook up another just to make sure it wasn’t a one-off!!
